Lisa Slatter is the owner of Celebration Creations.  A budding cake decorator from a very young age, Lisa soon turned her hobby into a successful business.  Lisa first trained at Marlow Adult Education progressing on to the Berkshire College of Agriculture and then Brooklands College in Weybridge where she gained her City and Guilds Qualifications in Design and Sugarcraft. 

Lisa is an accomplished sugar artist, author and tutor with over 22 years experience in the cake decorating and sugarcraft industry.  She has spent many years perfecting her skills and producing bespoke designer cakes for her clients which not only looked fantastic, but tasted great too.  With creative styling and an exquisite eye for detail, Lisa continued to wow her clients with her sugar master pieces.

Today, Lisa spends most of her time teaching the skills of sugarcraft to others both in the UK and overseas and has little time to take on cake commissions.  See Sugarcraft Tuition Section for further details.

Lisa is one of the contributors to the book "Wedding and Anniversary Cakes" published by Knightsbridge PME Limited and is a regular contributor to the "Cakecraft & Decoration" monthly magazine.  She has recently written her first book "Decorated Cookies" in the Twenty to Make Series published by Search Press and is currently working on her second title "Sugar Flowers" in the same series.
